Hey, Potterheads! Have you preordered your copy of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child yet? Or bought tickets to see it in London?

Does the wait for new Potter installments seem interminable? Well, fear not, wizards and muggles! There is magic afoot, and it’s happening right here on the shores of the US of A!

Well, actually, it’s happening on the Pottermore website — the official site of all things Potter. BUT! It’s all about North America: specifically, the wizarding history of North America!

JK Rowling retweeted Entertainment Weekly to alert readers that there will be four original stories about North America’s wizarding history. In the short trailer, we get some tantalizing glimpses of magic on this side of the pond in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Rowling has delved into our wizarding history to cover topics such as Ilvermorny (America's Hogwarts), skin-walkers (a Native American legend), the Salem witch trials, and the Magical Congress of the United States of America. The stories are a bit of a prequel to the movie version of Fantastic Beasts, due out in November.

I can't wait! I can't wait!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

The first story will appear March 8 on Pottermore!
